Dreams Require Sacrifice
It’s 2:27 in the morning. I can’t sleep. I can’t sleep because I can’t wait to wake up. I can’t wait to wake up because I can’t wait to provide value. I can’t wait to build. I can’t wait to grow. I can’t wait to hustle. I can’t wait to show somebody what fitness can do for their life. I can’t wait to watch my friends sweat. I can’t wait to watch my friends push themselves. I can’t wait to watch my new friend start their fitness journey. I can’t wait to watch my gym continue growing, and continue being the best version of itself. Most of my mind is occupied by my ambition. Most of my mind is occupied by providing value. Most of my mind is occupied by growth. All I think about is providing value. All I think about is personal growth. All I think about is building the best me. Dreams require sacrifice.
To the single parent working hard to provide a living for your child(ren), working multiple jobs, being financially independent, and trying to take care of your health&fitness, I have empathy for you. Your dream requires sacrifice.
To the student working hard to obtain a higher education degree, working full and part-time jobs, interning and volunteering for free, and being away from your family to make your dream a reality, I have empathy for you. Your dream requires sacrifice.
To the individual that is depressed, unhappy, and defeated. I have been there. I know what that tastes like. I know what that feels like. I know how cold you may feel. I know how sad you look. I know how emotional you are. I know how broken you may be. There is light, there is perseverance, there is happiness. You have a friend in me, I have empathy for you. Your dream requires sacrifice.
To the individual that is overweight, ashamed, and unconfident. There is change. There is a solution. There is temporary. Let me help you be the change. Let me help you show you the solution. Let me help you navigate the temporary. We have been gifted with one body, one mind, one life. Show your body how much you care about your health. Show your mind how much you care about your mental. Show your life how much you care about living. We are living on borrowed time. Your dream requires sacrifice.
Lastly, to the entrepreneurs working hard to provide value, working hard to build a business, working hard to promote your brand, and working hard to live a long, happy, and fulfilling life; it takes patience, hard work, and dedication. You need to believe in your ambition. You need to believe in your hours. You need to believe in your hustle. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I have empathy for you. Nothing in my life has come easy. I have slept in my car. I have slept on multiple couches. I have slept in a garage. I have slept on the ground of a gym floor. I have done these things to make my ambition a reality. In the moment, some of these experiences have been awful. They have been mentally draining. They have been obstacles that I didn’t know the outcome to. But, they have taught me valuable lessons. They have taught me to never give up. They have taught me to finish what you start. They have taught me that talent, persistence, positivity, kindness, and gratitude, can take you to a tremendous place. There is no secret. There is no magic pill. There is no shortcut. There is a vision. There is a journey. There is a dream. A dream that requires sacrifice.
