Find Your Purpose

It’s 3:54 on a Sunday and I’m sitting here at the gym. Alone. Just me and my thoughts. Just me and my inner voice. Just me and what feels like my home. The majority of my day has been occupied by purpose. Purpose to grow. Purpose to excel. Purpose to provide. Purpose to succeed. Most of my thoughts are occupied by ambition. Most of my thoughts are occupied by growth. Most of my thoughts are occupied by value. I’m so obsessed with growth, business, and providing value that sometimes I get anxiety when I’m not in the gym. I’m so obsessed with these things because they have given me purpose. They have given me purpose to build the best version of myself. They have given me purpose to execute on my ambition. They have given me purpose to provide value to people that need my help.
Purpose can lead you to a special place. A place that can fill your life with passion. A place that can give you happiness. A place that can give you meaning. A place that can allow you to wake up nourished, and ready to prevail. I’m so fascinated by how many people aren’t living their life with purpose. I’m so fascinated by how many people aren’t waking up ready to prevail, ready to excel, and ready to grow. I’m so fascinated by how many people live their life for the weekend. I’m so fascinated by how many people go out and party every Saturday. I’m so fascinated by how many people use their free time to go wine tasting. I’m so fascinated by how many people can’t wait to go on vacation. I can’t tell you how many times a day I see people walk by my gym exhausted. I can’t tell you how many times a month I talk to someone on the phone feeling defeated. Overweight. Unhappy. Purposeless. You can see it in their eyes. You can see it in their body. You can feel it in their energy. You can feel it as they walk by. You can hear it in their voice. Lost, depressed, and in need of guidance. Lost in their path to happiness, depressed because of their choices, and in need of guidance to find themselves again.
Millions of people are living their life without purpose. Anxiously waiting to get home. Anxiously waiting for the weekend. Anxiously waiting for their next getaway trip. It breaks my heart. It breaks my heart because they are living their life on borrowed time. It breaks my heart because I see them every day walk by my gym. It breaks my heart because they have other passions. It breaks my heart because they don’t know where their time has gone. We don’t know when our time is up. We don’t know how long we will be here. We don’t know if tomorrow is promised…but, we do know that we have the potential to find our purpose. We do know that we have the potential to change our mindset. We do know that we have the potential to find happiness. Go out and execute on your passion. Go out and execute on your dreams. Go out and create what you’ve manifested in your head. You’re alive, take advantage of it. Most of our life will be spent working, or sleeping, I hope you find your purpose.
